Healthy Winter Breakfasts

Kiwi Chia Pudding

Woke up this morning to a snow day in Southern Ontario Ya! We decided to make ourselves a healthy quick warm breakfast.

Overnight oats and Chia pudding

Ingredients
:
Serves 2
2 Kiwi fruit
6 Strawberries
1/3 cup oats
1/3 vanilla almond yogurt
1 cup of almond milk
1/2 tsp Almond Extract
2 tbsp of Chia seeds
2tsp of maple syrup

Method:
Place oats, almond milk, vanilla almond yogurt cinnamon and Chia seeds in a mason jar and mix well. Leave in fridge overnight. 
In morning mix Chia pudding with spoon. Place some chopped Kiwi in the bottom of your serving glass, layer Chia pudding on top, then layer chopped Kiwi and Strawberries and more Chia pudding. Keep layering until serving glass is full then top with remainder of fruit drizzle with maple syrup.

Warm Oats and berries

Ingredients:
1/3 cup of old fashioned oats
3/4 cup of almond milk
Handful of assorted berries (Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries and Blackberries)
Drizzle with maple syrup if desired
